How to List Your Kitchen
Listing your kitchen on Syzl is free. Once you have a Syzl account, you can create a listing at any time from the Syzl app at app.syzl.io.
Start a new listing
Sign in and go to Me.
Under Syzl Account, choose Add/Edit Listings.
Tap New Kitchen Section.
The app walks you through each step and shows your progress as you go. Once you've confirmed your address, you can tap Save and exit and come back later.
What you'll be asked for
Tell us about your kitchen
Kitchen: create your kitchen, or pick one you already have. A kitchen can hold several bookable sections. See Naming your kitchen and sections.
Location: search for your address, then drag the pin over your kitchen entrance. Your address is only shared with a maker once you approve their booking.
Certifications: select any certifications your kitchen has. You can upload supporting documents for each one.
Insurance: choose whether makers need their own general liability insurance to book: not required, $2 million, or $5 million. Makers who need coverage can get a quote from our Canadian partner Zensurance.
Kitchen type and equipment: what your kitchen can be used for and what equipment it has.
Features and restrictions: your kitchen's features and any dietary restrictions (for example, nut-free).
Make people want your kitchen
Photos: add at least one. More photos of the space and equipment help makers choose you.
Kitchen section: name the area makers will book.
Description: tell makers what makes your kitchen unique.
Booking settings: how many people the section fits, the minimum booking time you'll accept, and how much notice you need. See Booking lead time.
Verify and Go Live
Rates: set your public hourly rate. The app shows the service fee and what you take home. You can fine-tune rates by hour later. See How to adjust kitchen availability and rates.
Summary: review your listing and tap Submit.
After you submit
Our team reviews every new listing. We typically respond within 2 business days. Once your listing is approved, it can start receiving booking requests.
Two more things to set up:
Identity verification. Your listings can't be booked until you verify your identity. Until then, makers see a "Book soon" message instead of available times. See ID verification.
Your wallet. Set up payouts so you can receive the money from your bookings. See Getting paid.
You can also connect your Google or Outlook calendar to keep your availability in sync. See How to sync your calendar to your kitchen listing.
