How to Adjust Kitchen Availability and Rates

As a Kitchen Host, you share your kitchen on your terms. You decide when each kitchen section can be booked and what it costs per hour. You might raise rates at busy times, lower them overnight, or block off hours when you need the space yourself.

Keeping your rates and availability up to date means makers only request times that really work for you. That leads to fewer declined or cancelled requests.

Open your rates

1. Sign in to the Syzl app and go to Me.

2. Under Syzl Account, choose Add/Edit Listings. This opens My Kitchen Sections.

3. Tap the kitchen section you want to change.

4. Open the Book tab and find Pricing.

Under Kitchen section default rates, enter your hourly rate. Then choose one of two options:

• Set to default applies that rate to every hour of every day. This also opens all hours for booking, so any hours you had blocked become available again.

• Set individual rates opens the Hourly rates calendar, where you can set different rates and block off hours.

Set rates by the hour

In the Hourly rates calendar, pick a day. Then you can:

• Tap any hour and enter a rate for that time slot.

• Set the same rate for a block of time: tap the first hour, then drag down to the last hour at that rate.

• Make an hour unavailable by setting its rate to $0. It shows as Unavailable at this time.

• Use Set day to give every hour of that day the same rate, or Set [day] as unavailable to close the whole day.

• Use Set all next to the default rate to apply one rate to every day.

Tap Done when you're finished, then save your listing.

Repeat a day's schedule

Once one day looks the way you want, you can copy it:

• Choose Copy [day] rates to: All days to use it as your weekly schedule.

• Or pick specific days under Or to specific days.

You may need to repeat this for different days if your week isn't the same every day.

When you accept a booking, those hours are blocked on your calendar so no one else can request them.

Close specific dates and times

For one-off closures, such as a holiday or a private event, you don't need to change your weekly rates:

1. Go to Me > Add/Edit Listings.

2. On the kitchen section's card in My Kitchen Sections, tap Pause listing. (This button works once your listing is approved. You can also reach it at the bottom of the section's Book tab: tap Delist next to Delist this kitchen section, then tap Pause listing.)

3. Tap Add closed date/time, choose the date, and set the From and To times.

4. Tap Save.

Your closures appear under Upcoming closed dates/times.
