Booking Lead Time

Your booking lead time is how much notice you need before a maker can use your kitchen. It's the time between when a maker sends a booking request and when their booking can start.

For example, with a 48-hour lead time, a maker can't request a booking that starts tomorrow morning.

Choosing your lead time

Think about how much time you really need to get ready for a maker. A long lead time gives you more room, but it can mean fewer bookings, because many makers book on short notice.

Your lead time also gives you time to respond. Requests you haven't answered expire 6 hours before the booking is due to start. See Booking requests.

Change your lead time

  1. Sign in to the Syzl app and go to Me.

  2. Under Syzl Account, choose Add/Edit Listings.

  3. Tap the kitchen section you want to change.

  4. Open the Book tab. Under Booking Rules, update Booking Lead Time.

  5. Tap Submit listing. If the listing is live, you'll be asked to confirm that you're updating a live listing.

Changing the lead time on a live listing takes effect without another review. The same goes for availability, rates, capacity, rules and features. Changing photos, the title, the description or the address sends the listing back to our team for review, usually within 2 business days. If the change affects bookings you already have, let those makers know.

Lead time is set per kitchen section, so repeat these steps for each section you want to change.
