Late Fees and grace periods
We respect everyone's time, and we want every booking to start on time.
The 15-minute grace period
You have a 15-minute grace period from the start of your booking. Your booking still ends at its booked time, so arriving late shortens your time in the kitchen.
Running late or need more time?
If you're going to be late, message your host in the app as soon as you can.
If you need more time than you booked and your host allows extensions, tap Extend time on your booking while it's in progress. Otherwise, ask your host before your booking ends. Don't stay past your booking time without their OK, since another maker may have the next slot and the host needs time for cleaning.
If you stay past your booked time, the extra time is billed to the card on file at the kitchen's hourly rate and paid to the host.
